¡¡¡¡Abstract:Objective To establish an HPLC method for determining the content of vitamin E in wheat germ oil. Methods An Agilent ZORBAX ODS column was used to analysis the sample by using methanolª²acetontril (25¡Ã75) as mobile phase. The flow rate was 1.0 mL¡¤min-1 and detective wavelength 290 nm.Results The standard curve for vitamin E was linear in the concentration range of 32.9~291.1 ¦Ìg/mL. The average recovery was 99.9% with RSD 1.0% (n=6). Conclusion This method is simple, accurate and reliable for the quality control of wheat germ oil.
